Welcome to the Footsteps of St. Benedict - Class of 2019 and St. Benedict Parish Agora Trip to Italy. On this trip we will explore the areas of Italy where St. Benedict lived, led, worked and prayed. We will also explore aspects of the Rule of St. Benedict and spend time in community, inspired by the Holy Spirit and our Catholic Faith, to deepen our understanding and appreciation for the Saint for whom our parish and school is named.  We will be "running with the light of life" during this once-in-a-lifetime trip. Please keep us in your prayers and visit this blog often for updates. 

On April 5, we prepared for our visit to Italy by visiting the Monastery of the Holy Cross, a Benedictine Monastery, where holy men follow The Rule of St. Benedict as it has been followed for over 15 centuries. 

This group of 30 people will be leaving April 26th and will spend nine days in Italy. We can't wait to share our experience with you.
